Breakfast
  • 4 pcs leftover pizza
Notes: Still sick. Don't judge me. It figures that when I finally did get the family bug, I'd be spared the nausea.

During the day
  • A couple handfuls of roasted edamame
  • 1 c skim milk
  • Water water water (hot, with ACV to taste, about 1t-1T per cup, sometimes a little squirt of honey as well)
Notes: Headache. Merh. Thinking about making the trek to town to pick up some white willow - perfect time to try it out! But then again I'd have to shower and get dressed and make the effort to look semi-human.

Also during the day
  • A few more edamame
  • Another slice of pizza
  • This absolutely wonderful lemon-flavored tea-esque powdered drink that helps my sniffles and ache-y-ness and then just knocks me out entirely
Notes: Never did make it all the way to the herbs-n-stuff store, but seriously, after a few cups of this stuff, I might just go conventional. It could only be better if it had booze in it.

Still later during the day
  • Lots more edamame
  • 2 more cups of this tea stuff (with the recommended 4 hours in-between)
  • 1 entire bar of Ghiardelli dark chocolate with raspberry mushy stuff inside it
Notes: Got the chocolate in a care package from the best boy ever. It was melted but still delicious, and (almost) made up for the lack of snuggles due to distance (especially with "missing you" scrawled on the outside *squee!*). Also, "I Love You, Man" is a very silly movie and totally a chick flick for guys, but Jason Segel is still a cutie-pie.

Dinner
  • ~3-4 oz baked salmon with miso-mirin glaze
  • 2 c hot water with ACV and honey
Notes: Not hungry, just felt like it was time to eat something. Feeling slightly more human, although still with that weak, chilled-but-not-cold, shaky feeling you get when you've been sick. I'm opening the shop tomorrow, bleargh. Juan can be very passively insistent. Already set my nettle tea to brew for the morning, though; that should help.

I wish it was fall. Feeling the wanderlust again.

  • 1 little strawberry yoghurt
At work
  • ~4 oz total of frappe remnants
Lunch
  • 16 pcs sushi (salmon/avocado and eel)
  • ~1/2 c squid salad
Dinner
  • 4 (yes 4) slices of pineapple pizza with garlic sauce
Notes: I'm sick. Feel like shit. Hurts to move. If I want to eat pizza I'lll eat the goddamn pizza. Hopped up on cough meds right now and going to doze until I can take more. Nelly out.

Breakfast
  • 1 poached egg
  • 1 medium apple, sliced
  • 1 oz cheddar
  • 1 c skim milk
  • 9 almonds
Notes: Yay Zoning! I like food volume. Also, Goddess was totally spot-on when she created apples and cheese.

Lunch
  • Tuna wrap
  • 1 c of coffee/whole milk/cocoa powder/nutmeg mixture
Throughout the day
  • ~1 c total of frappe remnants (probably less)
Notes: Pretty good day. I was all feisty and had good comebacks. I like being feisty.

Memorable customers: young dude with a beard with whom I had a whole conversation based on "like:" first he wanted "like, iced coffee;" when I said we could do one better as we had exactly like iced coffee, it escalated. Finally, he said "like, thank you!" and I told him he was "like, welcome." Older professor with the last name "Prose" told me that one of his friends always told him that "it could be Verse!"

Dinner
  • ~1.5 c "company eggs" made by mama - eggs, peppers, onions, cream cheese
  • 1 oz random mozz-esque cheese in fridge
  • 1 small glass 2% milk
  • something else? I honestly forgot but I think that's all
Notes: Ugh. Getting sicker by the minute. Had a good time at class though. But...what to do when people who are cool and interesting and all ask me out and I don't want to say no but obviously am not available for what they want? Yargh.

No exercise today :( It's just too dark when I get home from school! Maybe running in the early morning or between work and school (if i have time and it's not too hot so i don't sweat too much and stink up the room)? Also, I need to pack something in the car to eat before school - I get way too hungry.

Breakfast
  • "Chewy Chocolate Chip" Pure Protein bar: 200 cal, 20g protein, 18g carbs, 5g fat

Notes: need more volume! Also should always have water with these bars.

Lunch

  • Tuna Wrap: ~4 oz tuna, ~2 handfuls spinach, 1 tortilla, ~2T honey mustard vinaigrette dressing
  • 1 bag chips
  • ~1/2 of a mug with 1/2 whole milk, 1/2 coffee and a squirt of vanilla syrup

Notes: Shouldn't have had the chips; no excuse there. Also can do without syrup in coffee. Stop being a girly wuss and drink coffee without sugar!

Throughout the day
  • 2 or 3 4-5 oz remainders of frappes
  • about 6 oz of "real hot chocolate" experimentation (with whipped cream)
  • 16-ish oz peppermint tea when I finally came to my senses
Notes: 10.5-hour day; 1022 people served. Still not a good enough excuse, especially for the whipped cream. Next time: start with the tea right after lunch!

Crossfit
  • 20 min tactical stuff (PVC pipe squats etc, KB swings and cleans. To remember: 25-lb KB in each hand; 1 Russian swing, 1 KB clean, 1 squat; rinse & repeat. Music: Queen, "Another One Bites the Dust")
  • Workout: front squat with 2 25-lb KBs (clean to start), pushups, situps. 9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1. Time: unknown
Duke Wall
  • Once around (1.6 mi); walk 3ish minutes to start, run rest of the way. Started with a pretty tired shuffle and got up to a nice clip by the end.
Notes: Need to eat something around 5:30 and keep drinking water till 6:45ish - got pretty dizzy and dehydrated at Crossfit. Still finished first though, w00t! Running was SO much harder alone - I miss Megan chattering the whole way! Could probably have gone at least twice around if I'd eaten better and stayed hydrated.

Dinner
  • ~1/3 c basmati rice
  • ~1 c leftover Indian mush (tomato sauce, tofu chunks and chick peas were recognizable; otherwise no effing clue
  • ~2 (ok more like 3) T peanut butter
  • 1 poached egg
  • 1 little raspberry yoghurt
  • ~1 c skim milk (chugged from carton)
Notes: I really need to start planning what to have for dinner before I get home all famished and shizz. Preferably much earlier in the day. Like before I leave the house.
